Estimation of Refernece Values of the Clinical Chemistry Items Using Data from Healthy Indivisuals

Abstract
Background:
@EN To estimate the reference values of our clinical chemistry laboratory, AST, ALT, cholesterol and glucose data from healthy adults was examined and analyzed.
@ES Method:
@EN The data of AST, ALT, cholesterol and glucose was obtained using CCx(ABBOTT) autochemistry analyzer and the results were computerized by SAS program.
@ES Rssults:
@EN The mean¡¾SD values of glucose, cholesterol, AST and ALT were 87.3¡¾12.7mg/dl, 190.8¡¾36.1mg/dl, 24.7¡¾7.41IU/L and 27.9¡¾13.3IU/L respectively. Reference ranges from 2.5% to 97.5% of distribution frequency of the glucose was 71~110mg/dl,
cholesterol was 127~271mg/dl, AST was 13~41IU/L and Alt was 11~63IU/L.
@ES Conclusions:
@EN the reference ranges of cholesterol and ALT are higher than those of our laboratory in use. Cholesterol shows increasing values according to the age.
